Asia Rorick (she/her) is a freelance illustrator and graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Communication Arts. She works digitally and loves to create work with earthy vibrant colors and gritty textures, capturing the look of traditional mediums that feel like something you can experience with all your senses.
Asia's work has been published in Studio Hot Pink, Emanata Comics Anthology, The Compass and The Commonwealth Times. She was also a finalist in Bright Point Community College's Foundation Art Award and 1st place recipient of The Freelance Star: Student Journalism Awards Contest for Editorial Cartoons. She most recently served as Program Coordinator for RICE, a fully student run indie comic expo in Richmond.
When she isn't painting, she likes to spend time outside in her garden with her two naughty cats. :-)
